Sally Gelardin, Ed.D., is a certified Career Development Facilitator eLearning Instructor (CDFI) and Provider of the Global CDF curriculum, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC), and a certified Job and Career Transition Coach. Through e-learning curriculum design and development, career expert audio interviews, presentations, radio/television interviews, and publications for print and electronic media, Dr. Gelardin demonstrates ways workers in transition can develop lifelong employability skills. Dr. Gelardin administers the Job Search Practitioner Certificate and teaches the Global Career Development Facilitator curriculum, serves as Women's Studies Portfolio Evaluator at the University of San Francisco, and provides career, caregiving, and self-care services and products for individuals, small businesses, organizations, and educational institutions.
Dr. Gelardin earned a M.A. in Education (University of Massachusetts), M.A. in Counseling Psychology (University of San Francisco), and Ed.D. in International and Multicultural Education (USF). She is Past President of the California Career Development Association (CCDA) and served n Advisory Board member of the Redwood Empire Small Business Development Center. She currently serves as an active contributing member of the National Career Development Association's Nominations and Publication Committees and the American Counseling Association's Grief and Bereavement and Cyber-Technology Committees. She is creator of the Job Juggler's online, self-paced Lifelong Employability Program and is author of "Starting and Growing a Business in the New Economy: Successful Career Entrepreneurs Share Stories and Stratagies, " published by NCDA, 2007. Dr. Gelardin produces Entrepreneur Kits for individuals who run their own businesses and for career professionals who work with entrepreneurs and who run their own private practice. She is guest editor of the Career Planning and Adult Development Journal issue on career and caregiving and is contracted to write a monograph for the National Career Development Association on "Career and Caregiving: Putting the Pieces Together."
