Are you getting SPAM in your comments?

If you are getting SPAM in comments to your posts, it is because you set your "Account Setting" option "Make comments public" to Yes. To stop future SPAM, go to "Account Settings" link in the upper right corner and set that option to No.
Make comments public

Set this to 'yes' if you would like anyone to be able to comment on your resources (by default only logged-in users can). Note that this may make you vulnerable to spam.
Public comments:

Yes No

Here's how to check to see if you are getting SPAM in your comments.

Under "Recent Activity" in your right sidebar click on "View Your Activity" link, then select the "The last month" link. Look for SPAM.

If you have a lot of comments with SPAM, do the following:

After you have changed your option to No open a new window, craete a new post, COPY and PASTE all from the old to the new, then delete teh old post with all teh SPAM.

If you have only a few SPAM comments, just delete them.

And while you are looking at all of the comments to your post, please do some housekeeping and delete those that are no longer relevant or necessary.
