  1. My ePortfolio -

    1. See these media examples on Elgg: video, audio, picture and graphic posts for digital artifacts for ePortfolios. Show "ePortfolios" tag on Elgg. Click on the "ePortfolios" tag below in Keywords.
    2. If you forget how to insert an image into your post, click on the "IMG" tag in the keywords box below.)

  2. My LifeWork Portal (LWP): Who am I and what I want to do?

    1. My LifeWork Portal (LWP) and many "My LWP ..." supporting posts . Each post you create, either in private, public or shared with a few others, is your virtual place where you can reflect upon what you wrote, edit it, develop it, link to other ideas and resources, then reflect some more. This process soon takes you on a path of self-discovery that most have never experienced before, particularly when you invite others to interact with you. My vision for all of this is called 6/6B

  3. My shared interests and experiences (social networking) . I use tags/keywords to collect and organize what interests me and provide QUICK keyword access to other people and posts who use the same tags. Here is my tagcloud on LWPS.
  4. WebCT, Blackboard

You may want to seek the assistance of a cybermentor, cyberCDF, or a cybercounselor.

If you are new to LWPS, create a few simple posts first to see if you like this platform. Read this post to learn how. Write about anything that relates to your lifework planning.

Here are a few suggestions on a few posts you might consider.
  • your interests
  • your skills - what are you good at
  • your values
  • your passions
  • your stories
  • a few paragraphs of the beginning of your autobiography
  • if you want more ideas, just click on this link to see a list of all of the posts I have created where I use the tag/keyword "My", or look at my LifeWork Portal.

One of the most powerful features of LWPS is the ability to edit your posts. This gives you an opportunity to revise and improve upon what you have written. Most of the posts I have created in LWPS are at various stages of completion. That is why I add a tag/keyword of a per-centage of completion of each post so I know how much more work I need to do. (See this post for more about that.)

So, re-read your posts periodically to reflect on what you written, then re-edit them as appropriate.

If you like this platform and plan to create more lifework planning posts, then click on this "PIMS" link here or below.

Although your personal LWPS blog is free, we ask that you limit your posts here to those that contribute to your lifework planning. There are several other (free) blogging platforms that you can use for other purposes. See this Wikipedia article.

Proceed to see how you can develop your LWPS personal blog as a personal information management system (PIMS), or return to Several ways that you - as an individual - can use LWPS, or to LWPS Help.
