LWPS is a collection of many personal and community blogs and each blog is a collection of posts.
The right sidebar for each blog is unique.
It will contain a unique "Brief Description box" in the upper right corner followed by a unique list of members or friends.
You are currently in the "New member!" community blog which is one of over 70 communities in LWPS. The right sidebar will be unique for this and each community blog.
There are also many personal blogs. The right sidebar for each will also be unique for each personal blog.
Most LWPS users will only add posts to their personal blog. A few will create and maintain posts in communities - some of which they may create/own.
As you explore and navigate around LWPS, you will most likely jump to different personal and community blogs. When this happens, the information and links in the right sidebar will also change. Most often, you will not need to pay attention to the right sidebar. But sometime, the post may ask you to look at it, and you should review it to see if there are any links you want to explore further.
