After you have COPied/PASTEd a template post into your blog, you need to make the following changes to personalize/customize that post to your needs.

1. Linkages

(We will submit a bug report to the developer of this WYSIWYG code.)
         
   3. Return to the post that links to the post you are editting and change the link to the template to point to your copy of that template.
   4. Provide a backward link to that calling post
2. Add your initials and any other tags/keywords to the "Keywords" section.
3. If your post does not have private information in it, save it with an Access Restriction (AR) of "Public"; if you want another LWPS member to see your post, create a Group Access Restriction (GAR) for them and save your post with that GAR; otherwise use an AR of "Private".

An aggregating post (AP) is simply a post that contains a list of links to other posts or webpages.

The purpose of an AP is to collect links to similar posts to make it easier for you (and others) to locate and access posts with one, two or three mouse clicks.

Let's say you create fifty (20) posts in your personal blog. You could click on "Your Blog" and see the full content of all of the posts, or you could add your initials to the "Keywords" section of each of your posts and then click on one hyperlink instance of your initials to see the title of all of your posts. But neither method organizes your posts. You create APs to do that - to organize links to your posts.

As you create more posts in your personal blog, you will want to learn how to organize them so you can access and find them easily.

You already learned about adding your initials to the "Keywords" section of each of your posts so you could click on that tag/keyword (or do a search for it) to find ALL of your posts your initials. But that is not an crisp way to organize similar posts.

You already learned about creating hyperlinks. Soon we will show you how to add several hyperlinks to one post so you collect and organize similar posts making it easier to find them. You saw a glimpse of that when we just talked about creating posts for your values, interests and skills. 

We'll talk about that soon, but first we want to emphasize the importance of constantly developing each of your posts so they reflect who you are at this instant and what you want.

1. Whenever you want to create a post in your blog, just click on the "Your Blog" button in the upper left corner. Click on Anatomy of a post, if you need to review.
2. Enter a post title and add your text to the post body. In the "Keywords" section, add your initials and a few key words about this post so you can use them in a search to find this and related posts in the future.
3. Initially save the post with an access restriction (AR) of "Public". We'll talk about other ARs later. 
4. Click "Post" to save your post.
5. Click "Edit" to return to edit mode and make any modifications you wish. You can make as many changes as you wish. Later, we will talk about how important it is that after you create a post about yoru lifework/career planning actiity, that you periodically review it, reflect upon what you wrote, and revise it if necessary so it always represenets your current state or feelings.

Have fun! Your first post should be about anything you want to write about that pertains to your lifework/career planning. If nothing comes to mind, consider one of the titles in my LifeWork Portal. You can COPY anything that you want.

LifeWork Planning Services (LWPS) is a blogging platform that is made up of posts.

A post is like a page in a book. There are thousands of posts ("pages") in this LWPS blog ("book").

Communities are like chapters.

Although posts are not sequentially ordered within the chapter/community, they are logically ordered based upon which sub-blog (personal blog or community blog) they are saved in.
