Pete Hubbard (LWPS Founder) @ "Value of Virtual CD Communities" monograph

What should we call this monograph?.

Sally originally suggested a title of "The Value of Virtual Communities in Career Advising."

My preference is "The Value of Creating Virtual Career Development Communities".

Please comment if this works for you or offer alternatives.

How about "Creating Virtual Career Development Communities"? Or, something that would allow us to address creating these communities not only as a part of career counseling/advising, but also in instruction and training, and as a very important aspect of professional development (such as the NCDA forum purpose).

The title is getting a little long, but how about "The Value of Creating Virtual Career Development Communities"?

It's important that we hilite "The Value ..."

Leaving off the target audience of these communities (advisors, counselors, teachers/trainers, etc.), as Debbie has done, implies (I believe) the inclusion of ANY and ALL types of audiences.

Both work for me. My preference is "The Value of Creating Virtual Career Development Communities". Having the words "The Value of...." would fill my need to know why I should spend my time on this new and innovative method, and possibly give me a good reason to move out of my "comfort zone".

I like it, but I want to add "The Value of" so it reads "The Value of Creating Virtual Communities to Enhance Career Development".

Is there a reason you left out "The Value of"?
