We have no plans to build wiki functionality for Elgg - that said, others are welcome to build a wiki plugin. One such plugin does exist:

There is also MediaWiki/Elgg integration available:

Hi everyone
I am very new to ELGG but excited by the possibilities.
I would second Ingo's second question: a wiki tab in ELGG would really make it for me.
I am particularly interested in sharing ideas with anyone who is integrating Moodle and ELGG.
