December 2007

December 29, 2007

There will come a time when you will begin to consider one of the following transitions while you work on the LWPS project.
  1. I'm thinking of leaving the LWPS project. If the reason is because of something I said or did not say, or did or did not do, I hope you will add a comment below so I can learn what it is so I can try to fix it.
  2. I will be leaving the LWPS project in "n" weeks. Please add a comment below that includes the following.
    1. Indicate how weeks notice you are giving me.
    2. Update our development wiki with the following:
      1. A list of incomplete tasks with documentation about each to pass on to teh next contractor.
      2. A statement that you will/will not be able to help a replacement contractor get on board, if I can find one before you leave.
      3. Tell me how much I owe you, or you owe me.
      4. A recommendation for a replacement, if you know one.
  3. I'm planning to raise my biling rate in "n"months. Please add a comment with the new biling rate and when that will become effective.
Of course you will always be welcome as a member of LWPS even when you are no longer working on it.
