LWPS Public Relations :: Blog :: Ways that you can lower your use of LWPS storage

March 21, 2008

The LWPS database is getting very close to the maximum size for the server plan I am using. Since I have a very limited budget and can not afford to go to the next higher plan, I must ask you to review the following ways that you can lower your use of LWPS storage. Thank you.

  1. Use offsite storage
  2. If a post is no longer relevant, either reuse it yourself before creating a new post, or see "A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE" below.]
  3. Consolidate posts that contain similar content. DO NOT "Delete" the unnecessary post(s). See "A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE" below.
  4. Minimize or eliminate duplicate content in posts.
  5. Delete all comments that are no longer useful or relevant. Get in the habit of clicking on "View recent activity" to review/delete your comments.
A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Please DO NOT "Delete" any posts that you no longer need. Instead, change the "Subject" line and the "Post Body" to read "Empty", add a tag of "empty" and, if you wish, change the Access Restriction so only you and I can view the post. I will periodically search for the "empty" tag and change the ownership of the post to me and reuse it.  Thank you!
