Currently I have two LifeWork Profiles. Each is in an LWPS post and in a Google Doc.

- "6/6B - Finding six (6) people out of six (6) billion"
Because we forget (good article)
Dick Bolles, in the section "The Three Secrets to Finding Your Dream Job" (page 244 of WCIYP, 2008), says that Barbara Brown has said that brain scientists had discovered that "put(ting) everything you know about yourself, on one piece of paper" is the first of three (3) things you need to do to "faciliate making better decsions about your life".
Of course, as Dick points out in the next paragraph, you can't put EVERYTHING you know abotu yourself on one piece of paper, so what we mean is that you place all the KEY SUMMARY POINTS about yourself that you need to refer to get back in touch with who you are and what you want and need in your work and life.
Keep in mind that lifework/career planning is a life-long process and that an up-to-date profile of yourself in your wallet offers you a space/place to reflect to constantly prepare yourself for new opportunity or you negin having doubts about your current job.

LWPS does not offer a crisp "Print" function. So, we recommend your use teh source text from this file and PASTE it into a word processing document (like MS Word) and print it.
Click on the "HTML" button above (to the right of the "?" mark) and COPY the HTML source and PASTE it into your word processing document which we recommend your call "My LifeWork Profile".
e is a summary of information that you create about you.
I find it very useful to summarize certain aspects of myself ...
But first, you create the details about you in individual posts in your LWPS blog, then you create aggregating posts to collect those links together so you can easily find and manage your posts. Then you create a profile post that summarizes who you are.
Don't confuse it with three other key aggregating posts.
Below are several different types of profiles.
- "Your Profile" is part of your LWPS account
- A ONE PAGE personal profile you should carry with you
- O*NET profile
- MBTI
- SDS
