<br />Our work (jobs, careers, etc) represents the greatest part of our lives and each of us pursues happiness/joy in our work in our own way. For some LWPS members, that pursuit includes a concious effort to prepare for unplanned events and unforseen opportunities by having a clear understanding of who we are at this moment and what our needs and wants so we can make informed decisions of what is next for us. <br /><br />The opposite of happiness/joy is suffering, whic, according to Tolle, is something we create for ourselves adn others when we are not ....<br /><br /><br />

		<dc:subject><![CDATA[osborn biography]]></dc:subject>
            <description><![CDATA[I completed my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Florida State University in 1998 with an emphasis in Career Counseling. I was a career advisor at the Florida State University Career Center for 3 years and an Assistant Director for 4 years. I have co-authored 3 editions of Using Assessment Results for Career Development with Dr. Vern Zunker and am currently senior author. I am a tenured  associate professor in counselor education at the University of South Florida. I also serve as the K12 associate editor of Career Convergence. I have taught 12 undergraduate career planning courses and 10+ graduate career planning courses. I was the first in our department to teach a completely online course for 30 students and have been incorporating technology and e-teaching into my courses for 7 years.]]></description>
