Please read this post first, then add the comment "MAI done" below so I know you have MAI'd it.

Questionnaire for PDI # 5

We’ll use this post to discuss what questions will appear in an online questionnaire (that Virginia is preparing) that I will send to all registrants.

  1. Link to Virginia's final draft of the Questionnaire
  2. Link to Pete's copy of Virginia's final draft of the Questionnaire
  3. V-Q
  4. Summary of all who responded to the Questionnaire (dummy data so far)
  5. Link to Sally's ACA questions

5/17/2006 Introdcutory remarks about the Q. Please comment.

Normally, before we started the PDI, we would have asked you to introduce yourself. But, since we expect a large group and we have the capability to collect information about the attendees, summarize it (we won't use anyone's name), and make it available to you weeks before the event, we decided to employ this questionnaire. Most of these questions are designed to identify your general, not individual, levels of technical skill and knowledge. That information may tell us that we need to cover an area in more detail.

Since you will have this information three (3) weeks before the event, you may want to use it to prepare questions to ask us or your fellow attendees.

Processing

I will send an email (click here to discuss it) to all registrants. They will complete the questionnaire within four days. When they press the “submit” button on the questionnaire, their responses will be emailed to me automatically. I will create a summary page that they can review and print off before the PDI.

  1. Virginia,

I've spent several hours trying to figure out why I can not get a data e-mail after I upload my version of the Q.

When you have a chnace, please make the above changes, then send me a new copy of the code so I can test it out.

  2. Hi Pete:

I just tested it out on my email and it works. Be sure to save any changes and then you can test it in internet explorer. In the past, it worked better when I checked in the file before trying it out. I will email you the code and with your email, let me know if it works.
