Welcome Anna,
First I'm going to introduce you briefly. I met Anna at a National Career Development Association Conference at a testimonial to her famous husband David Tiedeman (now deceased) who is cited in counseling texts.
Anna is an original thinker with a multitude of entrepreneurial skills. No surprise - she used to live in California. Just look at her website, Life-is-Career, which she composes herself, and you will see what I mean. She speaks directly from her heart - no professional jargon. For example, she believes that everyone can create his or her own theory - can you imagine? This concept rocks the academic establishment.
She has decades of experience lecturing at universities and writing books such as Learning, Practicing, and Living the New Careering. To me, her greatest strength is an inquiring mind and the ability to see things in new ways. For example, how many private practitioners would post their home, a poem by Robert Frost, and flowers on their business website? Perhaps Anna does that because she does not see business separated from life.
Before I pass the mike to Anna, I'm going to mute listeners for a bit, then when Anna gives me the go ahead, I shall unmute listeners and you can ask her questions. I'll let Anna take it from here....
