  • Click lifeworkps.com, then click on the "Registration" button to register for your free LWPS account.

  • Click here to go to our course community. Then, in the "Profile Owner" box in the upper right side, click on "Join this community" only once.
  • Click on the "Class Roster" link in the class community's "Profile Owner" box. Read the instructions in that post.

  • Go to the "Account Settings" button in the far upper right, click on it, then set the "Receive email messages" option to "Yes".

  • While in the course community weblog, click on "Community Blog", then "Post a new entry". Add a title of "<your name> class mailbox", add text in the BODY inviting classmates to "Add comments" to your mailbox post to communicate with you, add a keyword/tag of your initials, followed by a comma - "," - followed by the word "mailbox". (I'll tell you why later.)

  • Do the following to place a link to your "<your name> class mailbox" post in your "Profile Owner" box so you and others can access it quickly.
    1. COPY this text in red <a href=http://lifeworkps.com/hubbard/weblog/696.html>Pete's Mailbox</a>

    2. Click on "Your Profile", then PASTE the above code it into the "Brief Description" section of your LWPS Profile

    3. Change my post number "696" (which points to my mailbox) to the post number for your mailbox that you created in step 5 above. (You can change "hubbard" to your LWPS username, but it doesn't make any difference in the execution of the hyperlink.) To get your post #, read this post."

    4. Change "Pete" to your name

    5. Change the "Access Restriction" to "Community Spokane GCDF" so only your fellow students can view it.

    6. Go to the bottom of you Profile and hit the SAVE button.
  • Upload your picture to your LWPS account to personalize your ""Profile Owner" box and all of your posts. Congratulations!
    1. You now have a personal/professional LWPS weblog.

    2. You have joined your classes community.

    3. You have created your first post in that community - your "class mailbox".

    4. You have made all your fellow students your "friends" and created a group access restriction so you can exchange private posts with them and your instructor.

    5. You have uploaded your picture to personlize your account.
